Sometimes the door looks open, but you're not meant to go through it yet. As an artist and in my professional life I've often felt like this but I know that it'll be great once I'm allowed into the next expanse.
This was shot in an old stone building in California, and in my childhood home in Texas. At the time when I shot this, I was still just the Texas girl trying to get into a challenging industry somewhere far from home. Happy to say I've been let in at this point, but still looking for my seat at the table sometimes.
